Since its inception in 2011, Huckberry has carved out a reputation for carrying some of the finest adventure and lifestyle-focused men’s apparel and accessories that money can buy. In more recent years, the award-winning retailer has taken its wealth of knowledge and expertise in these spaces to deliver their own custom-engineered garments and goods — the latest of which sees Huckberry join forces with Georgia-born country music star Thomas Rhett to deliver a limited edition clothing capsule.
Drawing inspiration from some of Rhett’s favorite classic silhouettes and cuts, the Huck x Rhett American Made Capsule was designed and curated with help from the Georgia-born singer-songwriter. The first item in this capsule is the Huckberry x Thomas Rhett Western Shirt. This classic western shirt is cut from 8oz black cotton denim that’s sourced from the Cone Mills White Oak plant in Greensboro, North Carolina before being pieced together in Los Angeles. Equipped with reinforced stitching, this shirt is also decorated with premium turquoise polyester snaps adorning its flap pockets and main front closure. Pointed pockets and front and back yokes give the shirt a bit more understated western style, as well.
Anchoring this capsule is the Huckberry x Thomas Rhett Waxed Canvas Puffer Jacket. Made by hand in Seattle, Washington by boutique brand Crescent Down Works, this jacket combines modern puffer designs with an old-school waxed canvas shell construction — more specifically an 8.25oz Diamante Italian waxed shelter-tent canvas that’s been treated with Martexin Original wax. Fitted with a nylon lining, this jacket’s waxed canvas shell will also slowly develop a unique patina over time. Affording ample warmth while adding minimal weight, the jacket’s been stuffed with 5oz, 700+ fill-power ethically sourced goose down. Rounding out the puffer are a set of hand-warmer pockets and a snap-button-secured front closure with custom Crescent Down Works-logoed brass buttons.
Produced in limited numbers, the Huckberry x Thomas Rhett American-Made Capsule Collection is available for order now, with pricing set at $188 for the Western Shirt and $595 for the Waxed Canvas Puffer Jacket. A portion of the proceeds from this capsule will also go directly to Folds Of Honor — a non-profit and charity that raises funds for scholarships for the family member’s of fallen and disabled service members and first responders.
