Converse and A-COLD-WALL are no strangers to one another, and a forthcoming release goes to show that these two brands are as comfortable with each other as ever. With the unveiling of their collaborative Aeon Active CX, futuristic design gets an appropriate splash of color.
The standout element of the Nike subsidiary‘s modern-day sneaker is its hefty, sustainably-crafted Crater foam midsole, which is fused with CX foam to provide substantial cushioning whether you’re on a walk or the court. Its ankle-hugging, stretch bootie composition and convenient heel loop also come together for an easy pair of shoes to throw on no matter how complex they may initially come across.
As far as style is concerned, it’d be an understatement to say that these shoes boast an it-factor. Their upper is rounded out with luxurious suede and leather overlays draped in a pale, moon-like shade of gray formally named “Micro Chip” that coincides seamlessly with that jade-colored Crater midsole. Sitting on an icy, translucent outsole and finished off with A-COLD-WALL* branding, these are easily one of the more avant-garde joint efforts we’ve seen these two whip up to date.
