You know the drill: another day, another add-on for the still-undelivered Tesla Cybertruck. While we are expecting Tesla’s electric pickup to arrive next year, countless startups are getting in on the action early, and Space Campers is the latest to pull off something particularly spectacular — and appropriately angular.
The Space Camper is a pickup camper that fits seamlessly over the Cybertruck’s bed. It boasts a solar roof, so there is no need for external batteries outside of those in the Cybertruck itself. As far as its interior is concerned, the camper has dimmable touch-activated LED lighting and a Murphy-style bed for two which can easily be tucked away for the sake of extra seating or space to work. In addition to the camper, the company plans on wheeling out an ecosystem of neighboring accessories, including a movie projector kit for entertainment’s sake
For your convenience, the Space Camper also comes equipped with an instant hot water heater, portable shower wand, and shower enclosure to let you rinse away the dirt after taking on the great outdoors. Additionally, it boasts a full camp kitchen with an induction cooktop, electric cooler, and carbon filter water system to ensure you’re staying hydrated the right way when off-grid.
There are even options to insulate the Space Camper’s interior for when the temperatures begin to drop or upgrade its exterior with stainless steel armor for heat shielding. All of this sounds pretty fantastic to us, and we can’t wait for the day when we can actually see one of these things fitted onto a Cybertruck. The Space Camper is available to reserve now for a presale price of $24,000.
