California-based Rezvani Motors has consistently pushed the boundaries of what constitutes a luxury SUV, transforming ordinary vehicles into military-inspired machines that wouldn’t look out of place in a dystopian action film. Their latest creation takes this philosophy to new heights by giving Lamborghini’s best-selling Urus the full armored treatment. Reskinning the supercar SUV, the Rezvani Knight is a carbon-fiber-clad statement piece for those who apparently find the Italian luxury vehicle too subtle. Oh yeah, and there’s a Dark Night package that can transform this into a vehicle for the literal end of the world.

BATTLING BORING
The supercar SUV segment has exploded in recent years with the help of Lamborghini’s Urus, leading its European competitors to do the same. But as these high-performance utility vehicles become increasingly common, Rezvani aims to stand out from the pack. The Knight trades the Urus’s already aggressive styling for something that looks ready for the front lines, featuring angular carbon fiber bodywork, massive fender flares, and a gunmetal gray finish that will certainly scare off any potential break-ins.
This transformation follows Rezvani’s established playbook, previously applied to the Jeep Wrangler-based Tank and Cadillac Escalade-based Vengeance. What makes the Knight particularly interesting, however, is that it’s the company’s first time working with an Italian vehicle, let alone Lamborghini’s flagship SUV. The result feels like the logical evolution of the ‘80s-era “Rambo Lambo,” which may have potentially served as inspiration.

APOCALYPSE READY
Where the Knight truly separates itself from other high-end SUV conversions is the optional Dark Night package. Carbon ceramic brakes and an upgraded audio system are nice but this option focuses on survival. The foundation is formed from body armor and bulletproof glass, while the underside is explosive protected. You also get military-grade run-flat tires and thermal night vision for when headlights aren’t an option.
The defensive capabilities continue with a smoke screen system, electrified door handles (to discourage unwanted entry), magnetic deadbolts, and an array of sirens and lights. Rezvani even throws in actual survival equipment like gas masks, bulletproof vests, helmets, and a first aid kit, because the people inside the vehicle should be protected as well.

PERFORMANCE UPGRADE
Despite all the added protection, Rezvani hasn’t neglected performance. The Knight’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 has been tuned to produce up to 800hp (11 more than the hybrid Urus SE’s combined output). Rezvani claims a 0-to-60 time of just 3.0 seconds, which seems optimistic given the likely significant weight gain from all that armor plating, but impressive nonetheless. Lastly, the Knight rides on 22-inch wheels wrapped in uber-beefy 33-inch off-road tires.
