Lamborghini’s $3.5M Fenomeno Is the Most Powerful V12 the Brand Has Ever Built

Twenty years ago, Lamborghini opened its Centro Stile design center with a mission to push the boundaries of what a supercar could be. Now, to celebrate that milestone, they’ve unleashed the Fenomeno — a limited-run masterpiece that doesn’t just honor that legacy but obliterates every performance benchmark the brand has ever set.

Built for the Record Books

The numbers tell a story that even seasoned hypercar enthusiasts will struggle to believe. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 has been massaged to produce 835hp at a screaming 9,250 rpm, making it the most powerful V12 in Lamborghini’s 62-year history. Three electric motors add another 245 horses, bringing the total to an earth-moving 1,080hp. That translates to a weight-to-power ratio of just 1.64kg per horsepower, the best the brand has ever achieved.

The performance figures are appropriately ridiculous: 0-60 in 2.4 seconds, 0-100 in 6.7 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 217mph.

Design as Manifesto

Where the Revuelto (the car this is based on) might feel restrained, the Fenomeno throws restraint out the window and drives over it for good measure. Every panel has been reimagined in carbon fiber, creating what Lamborghini calls a “design manifesto.” The longtail proportions give it an almost predatory stance, while the S-Duct system up front and the active rear wing deliver 30% more efficient cooling than any previous V12 Lamborghini.

The side profile borrows the “long tail” aesthetic from the track-only Essenza SCV12, but this one’s street legal. NACA ducts have been reinterpreted with a futuristic edge, and those vertical Y-shaped taillights at the rear are unlike anything we’ve seen from Sant’Agata Bolognese. The massive hexagonal exhaust outlet is so oversized it borders on comical, but that’s exactly the point.

Racing Tech Meets Road Reality

This isn’t just a pretty face with a big engine. Lamborghini borrowed heavily from their LMDh racing program, particularly the CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brake system that uses long-fiber carbon matrix technology. For the first time on a road-going Lamborghini, there’s a 6D sensor that measures acceleration and angular velocity across all three axes in real time, allowing the car’s systems to predict and adapt to driving conditions with unprecedented precision.

The suspension setup ditches the Revuelto’s adaptive dampers for manually adjustable racing shocks, giving owners the ability to dial in their perfect setup for track days while maintaining civility on public roads. Also, a partnership with Bridgestone brings custom Potenza Sport run-flat tires to the setup.

The Interior Experience

Inside, the cockpit leans heavily into Lamborghini’s “Feel like a pilot” philosophy. Three digital displays handle most functions, while carbon fiber dominates nearly every surface. The bucket seats were designed specifically for this car, and even the air vents are 3D-printed carbon fiber pieces. It’s minimalist by supercar standards but feels appropriately spaceship-like.

Through the Ad Personam program, buyers can choose from over 400 exterior colors and virtually unlimited interior combinations, ensuring no two Fenomenos will look identical.
