It’s a great time to own recreational vehicles. In particular, we’re seeing a boom in innovation for camper trailers, specifically teardrop trailers. Though smaller in stature than many of their RV counterparts, teardrop trailers are a great alternative to camper vans due to their compact size, lighter weight, and (usually) more accessible price points. While teardrop trailers are undoubtedly awesome, people’s main gripes with them are that they are often on the cramped side. Thankfully, Turkish builder Hunter Nature seeks to solve that problem with their ruggedly spacious RAPTOR XC teardrop trailer.
The rough-and-tumble design of the RAPTOR XC mirrors its aggressively cool name, employing hard, straight lines throughout its body, with the exception of the classic teardrop curvature. Despite its unique design language, what really sets the RAPTOR XC apart from its competition is its ability to extend its sleeping area to create a whole new room. It’s a genius design choice. Rather than featuring a lift-up galley, the folks at Hunter Nature opted to install a slide-out sleeping area, which essentially extends the living space inside the RAPTOR XC from 15.7 feet to 22.6 feet. Even better, this sleeping area sports a set of panoramic windows, allowing sleepers to view the starry night sky. The extendable sleeping area also comes with the option of being controlled by an electric motor, for those not wanting to take the manual route. As far as amenities are concerned, the RAPTOR XC impresses, featuring a kitchenette, a wet bathroom, a master bedroom, a touch panel-controlled electrical system, and a modular table that transforms its seating area into a dining area.
Even better, the RAPTOR XC boasts off-road suspension and 31-inch BFGoodrich tires on alloy wheels, allowing you to tow this home-away-from-home well off the beaten path. Hunter Nature doesn’t list a price for the RAPTOR XC, but you can contact them directly for pricing on the brand’s website.
