Over the years, GoSun has established itself as a leading purveyor of solar-powered food-related camping solutions, such as its incomparable tubular oven, which uses the sun’s heat to make meals wherever you are, and its innovative line of ice-less coolers, such as the Chillest, which can be powered with one of brand’s solar-paneled tables. Now, the Ohio-based company has forayed even further into the outdoor space with its first trailer of any kind.
As a partnership with the trailer company Camp365, the solar-powered GoSun Camp365 is a lightweight pop-up trailer that converts from a low-profiled triangular shell into a fully liveable mini-cabin by a single person in just 10 minutes. The aluminum frame supports the marine-grade canvas structure with a 7’6” ceiling once opened (6’8” when collapsed), providing nearly 700 cubic feet of room inside for six adults to mix and mingle comfortably. At just 1,800lbs, the trailer maximizes gas mileage and can be easily towed behind any vehicle with a class 1 hitch.
This pop-up isn’t just a living space but is equipped with everything you’d need for self-sustainable life off the grid. Utilizing several of GoSun’s low-maintenance technologies, the Camp365 features the GoSun Chill for refrigeration and the GoSun Fusion oven for cooking food. There’s also a propane-fueled outdoor shower with hot water, a compact toilet, a removable sink, and air conditioning and heating units. 30 cubic feet of dry storage lets you stow away food, supplies, and clothes for added space if necessary.
The reasonable height when closed, as well as the mere 4-foot width, allows the GoSun Camp365 to fit inside your garage so you can save on monthly facility fees. The all-in price for the trailer is $32,500, with a minimum $5,000 deposit required upon purchase. Deliveries are expected to start this September.
