Founded and headed up by Paul Brauchart and Philipp Rabl, Vagabund Moto is a world renowned customs shop that built its reputation on the strength of its stunning one-off bike builds, though has more recently been churning out a growing number of bolt-on kits and limited runs of complete custom turnkey motos — as well as a few one-off automotive builds. And for its latest limited-build series, the shop has now unveiled a heavily modified Bonneville Bobber dubbed the Vagabund Moto RxV Triumph Bobber.
Short for the Raisch x Vagabund Triumph Bobber, the RxV was born out of a collaboration between Vagabund and ClassicBike Raisch — a German Triumph (and BMW) specialist that was founded by Rainer Schenk and is now run by his three sons Christopher, Henrik, and Yannic. Sold as a complete, ready-to-ride turnkey build, the RxV Triumph Bobber manages to put an unmistakably modern spin on the Hinckley firm’s ultra-popular vintage-inspired Bonnie Bobber. Riding on 17” spoked Takasago Excel wheels shod in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa rubber, the donor bike has been treated to a contemporary take on a classic bobber-style seat that’s comprised of an upswept steel subframe capped off with a laser-cut aluminum seat pan and an Alcantara saddle. The bottom of the seat also features custom Polyamid 12 side covers and an integrated LED taillight.
Further altering the donor’s appearance is a Polyamid12 headlight housing with a Highsider LED beam set on a bespoke laser-cut steel bracket, and a custom black ceramic-coated slash-cut Remus exhaust system. The build’s cockpit has also received new, lowered handlebars, an aluminum fuel cap, and a Motogadget Motoscope Tiny analog gauge held in yet another bespoke bracket. Other smaller additions to the Bonnie Bobber include a Raisch front fender, petal rotors, ShinYo stripe LED indicators, and black anodized aluminum fork covers with integrated LED turn signals. The build’s finishing touch comes in the form of a signature Vagabund livery — a blacked-out, matte and gloss scheme contrasted via muted shop logos and yellow accents.
Available now in limited numbers, the ClassicBike Raisch x Vagabund Moto RxV Triumph Bobber has been priced at €35,000 (~ $38,675).
