Three years after Brabus first entered into the motorcycle scene with its 1300 R collaboration with KTM, the German tuning house and Austrian performance manufacturer are back together with something even more unhinged. Built on the foundation of the 1390 Super Duke R Evo — already one of the most aggressive hyper nakeds out there — this limited-run Brabus 1400 R Signature Edition takes things to a different level entirely. And with only 100 units slated for production worldwide, this bike is highly exclusive.

Widestar Meets LC8 Fury
The 1400 R gets the full Widestar treatment, a design philosophy borrowed directly from the company’s automotive catalog. Those bulging side cowls extend past the fork’s leading edge, creating an aggressive, forward-hunched stance. Up front, a completely redesigned LED headlight unit features daytime running lights inspired by Brabus’s signature stripes — a subtle nod to the brand’s automotive ethos.
The carbon fiber work here deserves particular attention. Brabus used prepreg processes to create precision-engineered fairing components with flawlessly smooth surfaces, all finished in high-gloss exposed carbon. The fuel tank fairing, side panels, belly pan, ignition lock cover, and even the single-sided swingarm get carbon covers. Integrated Dinamica grips on the tank add a tactile element of luxury, while aerodynamic winglets positioned behind the rider’s backrest handle aerodynamics at the rear.

Power and Precision
Under all that carbon sits KTM’s 1,350cc LC8 V-twin, producing 190hp and 107lb.ft of torque. The engine is paired with a dual-pipe exhaust system that tucks neatly under the carbon undertray, keeping the visual focus on those show-stopping Brabus Monoblock II Evo Platinum Edition wheels. These forged and CNC-machined three-spoke designs are pure Brabus — an homage to one of the company’s most iconic wheel designs from the 1980s. They’re as much about style as they are about function, with their lightweight construction optimizing stability and handling through corners.

Brembo’s latest Hypure four-piston monoblock calipers handle braking duties, gripping 320mm wave discs up front and a 240mm wave disc out back. The wave design prioritizes heat transfer and weight reduction, giving you incredible stopping power. Meanwhile, WP Apex Semi-Active Technology suspension uses electronically controlled magnetic valves to adjust damping on the fly.

Then There’s the Tech
Five ride modes (Street, Sport, Rain, Performance, and Track) adapt the 1400 R to different conditions and skill levels. Street mode gives you full power with civilized throttle response and traction control, while Sport sharpens things up. Rain mode maximizes grip in wet conditions, and the Performance and Track modes are exactly what they sound like, with all-out power delivery and granular customization options. A full-color TFT display with a Brabus-specific design scheme and unique startup animation lets you toggle through everything via illuminated handlebar switches.
The single-seater setup features hand-crafted upholstery combining Brabus Masterpiece leather and Dinamica microfiber, with embossed logos running down the center section. There’s no provision for a passenger here — this bike is built for one person.
