Since its inception in 2009, Bandit9 Motors has built a name for itself with its space age-inspired one-off and limited build series vehicles. Headed up by Daryl Villanueva, the shop has produced a wide range of custom cars and motorcycles, though one of its most iconic projects is undoubtedly Bandit9’s EVE Odyssey — an aluminum-bodied two-wheeler that currently resides in several of the world’s most elite moto museums including the Petersen Automotive Museum, the Haas Moto Museum, and the Barber Motorsports Museum.
And after the incredibly warm reception that the bullet-shaped bike received, Daryl and the gang have now opted to return to the drawing board in order to deliver an even more refined second-generation version of the EVE Odyssey.

The Basics
Constructed around an all-new proprietary aluminum box frame, the EVE Odyssey V2 maintains much of the appearance of its predecessor, though sees its design treated to a minor facelift that results in an overall sleeker and more futuristic-looking motorcycle. Additionally, Bandit9 has also bestowed the second-gen model with a myriad of new bespoke details that, while small, collectively elevate the bike as a whole. Tipping the scales at just 265lbs, the motorcycle measures 86.6” L x 31.5” W x 29.5” H.
Streamlined Bodywork
Though it still sports the same bullet-shaped motif as the V1, the new EVE Odyssey boasts an overall slimmer and sleeker appearance. Now fused to the bike’s new proprietary frame, this fuselage-style bodywork is brought to life in 7075 aluminum — a construction routinely used by NASA for its space shuttles — before being brush-finished entirely by hand.
Engine & Performance
At the heart of the EVE Odyssey V2 is the same Honda-sourced air-cooled four-stroke 125cc single-cylinder engine found in the original bike. Bolted to a four-speed transmission and fed via a Mikuni carb, the eighth-liter lump offers over 150 miles-per-gallon and allows for a top speed of 68mph — both of which are made possible through the build’s super-svelte 265-pound curb weight.

Updated Whees & Suspension
Like the original EVE Odyssey, the V2 features a rear mono-shock paired with a front telescopic fork shrouded beneath custom fork covers. On top of the mono-shock’s location and angle being tweaked, the new front-end also appears to be slightly raked compared to its predecessor. The V2 has also jettisoned the first-gen’s retro-style wheels for a more contemporary set of forged Marchesini 10-spoke wheels that have seemingly borrowed from a late-model Ducati. A single-sided swing-arm also puts the rear wheel — and its bespoke Bandit9-logoed wheel nut — on full display.
The Devil’s In The Details
When viewed side-by-side, the EVE Odyssey V1 and V2 builds boast a pretty similar appearance at first glance, though when you look more closely, there are actually numerous minor bespoke elements that have been incorporated into the motorcycle. These minor odds and ends include a new vertical strip LED taillight, redesigned aluminum foot controls, flush body-mounted LED strip indicators, and a custom brake fluid reservoir.
Revised Rider’s Quarters
The cockpit now sports a digital Motogadget Motoscope Mini display set on a custom bracket, bespoke machined steel switch gear, custom levers, and bespoke steel clip-on handlebars. The V2 also gets a new frame-integrated underslung exhaust that’s crafted from stainless steel — though can also be upgraded to a full titanium unit.
