Now fresh in our rearview mirrors, this year’s SEMA Show was brimming with heavily-modified builds constructed around Ford’s newly revived Bronco. One such project was built in collaboration between Vossen Wheels and Accuair Suspension, and saw the sixth-generation SUV turned into what the two brands are touting as the “World’s First Bagged Bronco.”
Standing in stark contrast to most of the lifted and off-road-kitted Broncos that lined the halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Vossen x Accuair build has received a lowering kit from the latter company, complete with the firm’s e-Level+ ECU upgrade. Vossen has also supplied the project with a set of its Hybrid Forged HF6-3 wheels — 20″ items from Vossen’s Hybrid Forged 6-Lug lineup that have been wrapped in 35″ Toyo Open Country M/T all-terrain tires. A full-size spare also adorns the Bronco’s aft-end, plus the project has also been treated to a pale blue “Area 51” livery, beautifully pairing with the Anthracite finish of the Vossen wheels.
After being displayed at Accuair’s SEMA booth in the convention center’s central hall, the bagged Bronco was taken out to the Nevada desert where it was unleashed on a dry lakebed — an experience Vossen captured in the video below. Vossen’s Hybrid Forged HF6-3 wheels can also be purchased by the public, starting at $649 each.
