A decade ago, the idea of a factory-blessed Shelby F-150 felt a little out of left field. The Mustang’s the obvious canvas, not the workhorse. But ten model years later, the muscle truck segment is fully its own thing, and Shelby American is making sure nobody forgets who helped pry the door open.
To mark the milestone, the Las Vegas tuner has dropped the 2026 Shelby F-150, a 10th anniversary build that turns Ford’s bestselling pickup into the most powerful super truck Shelby has ever produced.
Stage 2 and Then Some
The donor vehicle here is a fully loaded F-150 Lariat 4×4 SuperCrew with the 5.0-liter Coyote V8. Stock, that’s a perfectly respectable 400 horsepower. Then Shelby bolts on a Stage 2 supercharger with a Ford Racing blue powder-coated blower, a carbon-fiber intake tube, upgraded injectors, a high-flow heat exchanger, Ford Performance plugs, and a Borla exhaust to literally blow the doors off.
The result is a quoted 810+ horsepower on 93 octane. For context, that’s well clear of the Raptor R’s 720 hp and the Ram TRX’s 777 hp. Power runs through Ford’s 10-speed automatic to all four wheels, with a dual-intake ram-air hood feeding the supercharger from above.
Engineered to Actually Use It
The horsepower number is the easy headline, of corse, but let’s not forget the suspension. Rather than phone things in, Shelby developed the package with King Shocks, fitting Race Series 2.5 adjustable coilovers up front with finned reservoirs, matched rear shocks, and traction bars to keep the rear axle from doing its own thing under boost.
A proprietary lift kit opens up clearance for 35-inch BFGoodrich KO3 all-terrains on 22-inch Shelby wheels, and oversized Baer drilled-and-slotted rotors handle slowing this five-plus-thousand pound beast down.
The Look, the Cabin, the Catch
Visually, this is your classic Shelby. There’s that classic Le Mans stripe running the length of the truck, a custom grille with backlit SHELBY lettering, body-color flares, painted bumpers, oversized 3D Shelby badging stamped into the bedside, and power-deployable running boards for added convenience. Buyers can choose from ten exterior colors and six stripe combinations, and for the first time, even the grille lettering can be color-matched to the stripes.
Inside, Shelby fits leather seats with anniversary embroidery, carbon-fiber-look trim, billet pedals, digital gauges, and a serialized CSM plaque tied to the official Shelby Registry. Now the catch: this thing wears a $140,795 starting price. The donor Lariat is roughly $77,170 of that, meaning the Shelby kit alone costs about $63,625. That’s a whole Ranger Raptor in upgrades. Is it steep? Absolutely. But we’re sure they’ll be no shortage of buyers.
