For the better part of two decades, Hennessey’s VelociRaptor lineup has carved out a niche that sits somewhere between track-ready muscle and desert-racing capability. Starting with the first-generation Ford F-150 Raptor back in 2009, the Texas outfit has churned out over 1,500 supercharged beasts wearing that dinosaur-inspired badge. But they’ve never touched a heavy-duty diesel. That is, until now.

Powered Up from the Start
The 2026 VelociRaptor 1200 F-250 marks Hennessey’s entry into Super Duty territory. Based on the F-250 Lariat and powered by Ford’s 6.7-liter High Output Turbo Diesel V8, this truck delivers 500 horses and a mountain-moving 1,200 lb-ft of torque — hence the name. And before you ask, no, Hennessey didn’t touch the engine, simply because they didn’t need to. The focus instead shifted to making sure the rest of the truck can handle that kind of power.
With only 250 units planned, each truck gets serialized plaques and exclusive “US 250” anniversary badges on the fender vents. It’s a limited run that pays homage to American independence while giving Hennessey fans something collectible.

Even More Visually Imposing
Where Hennessey did get involved is everywhere else. The truck receives a comprehensive carbon fiber treatment, including the hood with functional heat extraction vents, fender flares, mirror caps, and tailgate appliqué. The exposed weave contrasts nicely against the stainless steel bumpers front and rear, and the overall effect is decidedly imposing.
Underneath, a five-inch BDS off-road lift pairs with Fox 2.5 remote-reservoir coilover shocks to give the VelociRaptor 1200 serious off-road credentials. Wrapped around new 18-inch eight-lug wheels are 37-inch off-road tires, while power running boards with integrated lighting help with entry.

Interior Upgrades
The cabin gets Hennessey’s full treatment too, sporting bespoke seats trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with red accent stitching, WeatherTech all-weather floor mats, and that numbered plaque to honor the 250th birthday of our nation. A 50-inch LED light bar sits tucked under the Ford badge up front, joined by upgraded LED fog lights for when the desert gets dark.

Recap
2026 Hennessey VelociRaptor 1200 F-250
Hennessey just dropped its first-ever heavy-duty diesel VelociRaptor, and they’re marking the occasion with a 250-unit run of the F-250-based truck that packs 1,200 lb-ft of torque, carbon fiber everything, and enough off-road hardware to justify the $54,500 upgrade package. It’s their way of celebrating America’s 250th anniversary while finally giving diesel fans a proper VelociRaptor to call their own.
