Inspired by the 935 endurance racer that dominated in the late ’70s, the Porsche Slantnose was divisive to say the least. A factory option for the 930 Turbo that included a lowered front end with pop-up headlights, louvred fenders, and wider rear wings, the Slantnose was deemed a luxurious alternative due to its extreme exclusivity, high cost, and bespoke nature. However, the new look challenged the very core of Porsche’s design identity, replacing its most recognizable feature with ’80s-excess styling that many purists found jarring.
But time heals all wounds, and the Slantnose has found its fans in 2026. One of those fans is Huntington Beach-based tuner Gunther Werks, who debuted its own take on the Slantnose last year with the F-26. Decked out with carbon fiber and given a 1,000hp upgrade, the Porsche was also just as exclusive and expensive with just 26 made with a whopping $1.57 million price tag. Now, the F-26 is back again in a stealthy Black Stealth Fighter variant.

The Quiet Menace
Just like last year’s model, this murdered-out version is built on a reinforced 993 chassis with 200% more rigidity than stock. But where the previous F-26 wore a custom metallic finish that read like liquid mercury rolling down the road, the new Black Stealth Fighter variant strips all of that back in favor of something considerably more ominous. Leaning into the fighter jet inspiration of the F-26, now the satin stealth gauge rings and tinted LED Sabre taillights lean fully into aesthetic.

As far as the interior, we’re only going based on the brand’s Instagram images for now, which are scarce. But we can catch tinted glimpses of the same red leather upholstery on the seats. Last time we also saw exposed carbon fiber trim and a wooden shift knob (a tribute to classic Porsche racing heritage), but that’s yet to be seen for now.

More Power, More Fuel Options
The new version is built on the same exact platform as before, with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter flat-six co-developed with Rothsport Racing under the hood, delivering 1,067hp at 7,600 rpm and 750 lb-ft of torque and mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with RWD.
On the chassis side, you get the JRZ electronic suspension front and rear, double-wishbone up front, and 381mm/355mm carbon-ceramic rotors with GT-R calipers like last time. Meanwhile, Continental ExtremeContact Force rubber tires are wrapped in Magnesium Turbo Twist monoblock wheels. The curb weight sits at 2,750 lbs, which on a car this powerful puts the power-to-weight ratio at a fairly savage 2.8 lbs per horsepower.

The only addition we could find (aside from the matte black coat) is the new flex-fuel capability. E85 support is a first for the F-26 program. And for a car this extreme, it adds more potential power and can lower combustion temperatures, expanding the car’s performance ceiling while keeping the engine’s fundamental character intact. The rest of the drivetrain stays true to form: six-speed manual, rear-wheel drive, limited-slip diff, dry sump lubrication.
