A car can really be an expression of your own personality and identity. However, if a brand only offers certain hue options and trim packages, then you’ll have to settle for what’s available. After all, we’re not unreasonable people by nature. But lately, certain car companies have started to give you the option to tailor the appearance of your ride how you like to, such as BMW’s Individual program, allowing access to over 50 different paint color finishes. However, there’s a new bar that’s been set as Range Rover has opened up customization with its SV Bespoke service.
For new owners of the Autobiography and SV models, Range Rover has provided a chance to individualize their vehicles, with a whopping 391 colorways available for the interior — 230 of which are offered in satin and gloss finishes. For picking your exterior color, the marque provides a Match to Sample service which replicates any color upon request. Altogether, the seven-step process also gives customers the ability to choose material both inside and out, select specific embroidery and detailing, and combine different colors and finishes. Even the rim color and the precious metal finish used on the “Range Rover” hood and tailgate script can be selected, including an option for 24K gold for the latter.
The news comes along with the debut of the 2024 Range Rover model, which features a set of new hybrid powertrains. Two base models run on a 3.0L I6 engine for 453hp and 542hp, respectively, boosted by a 38.2kWh electric battery for 218hp and an additional 75 miles of range. Meanwhile, the SV model is a Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle that comes equipped with a 4.4L V8 for 606hp and 553lb.ft of torque. The electric motor allows it to be more energy efficient when accelerating by using harvested energy captured during deceleration and braking.
Featuring the SV Bespoke service, the 2024 Range Rover models start at $107,400 and can be configured now through Land Rover’s website and select dealers.
