When people think of think of supercars, they think of the automotive industry’s apex offerings in performance, style, and exclusivity. Most people would be right to think that. However, there are some aftermarket tuners out there who sport the creativity and near maniacal drive to find ways to take supercars and make them even more, well, super. NOVITEC is one such group, and their latest take on the Ferrari Roma shows that the geniuses at the Bavarian outfit have the goods to make great things even greater.
Simply put, NOVITEC’s Ferrari Roma is logic-defyingly cool. From a performance perspective, the folks at NOVITEC went all in while tuning up the already stout engine of the Roma. NOVITEC’s Ferrari Roma has a total power output of 704hp and 650ft-lb of torque — marked improvements over the factory version’s 612hp and 561ft-lb. What’s more impressive was that the engineers at NOVITEC were able to boost the Ferrari Roma’s performance without touching the 3.9L twin-turbo V8. They developed modified controls for the electronic engine management system to implement a NOVITEC N-TRONIC control module, which introduces specifically calibrated mapping for injection and ignition. This electronic overhaul also helped optimize throttle and acceleration, which is why the NOVITEC Ferrari Roma can hit 62mph in a swift 3.2 seconds — shaving 0.2 seconds off the stock time — and has a face-melting top speed in excess of 201mph. The designers at NOVITEC also contributed to this automotive work of art by developing a more aerodynamic and streamlined body kit with high-strength naked carbon components that were given a high-gloss coating.
On top of the incredible performance upgrades, NOVITEC is offering their Ferrari Roma in three different designs with 72 distinct colors to choose from along with three different surface finishes. NOVITEC hasn’t specified the pricing information for their Ferrari Roma, however, customers can request information on their website.
