Tamarit Continues Perfecting Its Custom Triumph Formula with a Cafe’d Bobber

Located on Spain’s southeastern Costa Blanca in Alicante, Tamarit Motorcycles is a renowned custom moto shop that exclusively works with Triumph donors. By focusing on a single make, Tamarit has been able to perfect its formula for modifying the Hinckley firm’s parallel twins — as demonstrated by its latest one-off Triumph dubbed the “JBBL.”

Borrowing design traits from Tamarit’s earlier “Jade” build, the shop’s latest project combines cafe racer and bobber visual themes. Boasting a stretched and lowered stance, the stocker’s suspension has been replaced with a set of Hagon Nitro shocks and an aftermarket springer-style front-end that’s been modified to accept a modern disc and caliper setup. In addition to an adaptive LED headlight that’s helped along by a secondary auxiliary LED beam, the front-end of the bike also now sports a set of drag bars equipped with new switchgear, bar-end LED indicators, drop-down mirrors, and Biltwell grips.

The Bonnie’s stock tank remains in play, though it too has been modified to house a Motogadget Motoscope Mini display and LED warning lights. Moving back, a bespoke subframe supports a ribbed, humped leather cafe seat. The bottom of the build has received a large belly pan, as well. Other highlights include a custom chain-guard, a swingarm-mounted license plate holder, a rear-wheel disc insert, new foot controls, and a custom high-mount two-into-one exhaust system that was crafted by Zard specifically for Tamarit. The project’s finishing touch came in the form of a black, white, and multi-shade gray livery that adorns the tank, belly pan, and engine’s bottom end.

With JBBL representing the Spanish shop’s 104th build, it’s clear Tamarit Motorcycles has no plans on slowing down anytime soon. And, based on the progression shown over its first 100 builds, we can’t wait to see the kind of work Tamarit is churning out another 100 builds from now.
