American Legends Lee and Pendleton Launch Their First Collaboration

It’s always great to see two giants in their field come together and deliver some impeccable pieces. Nike and Comme des Garçons have done so for high-end athleticwear, Supreme has worked with essentially everybody imaginable, and, now, Lee’s beloved denim combines with Pendleton’s world-class textiles for the first time to celebrate the pair of esteemed brands’ American stomping grounds, releasing a handful of garments that ensure quality and versatility to the fullest extent.

The collection’s Plaid Chore Shirt features a unique red plaid from Pendleton that was crafted for the sheer sake of this collaboration, all of which is curated from nothing but wool then clad with a denim collar and trio of pockets. Of course, this capsule would not be a Lee collaboration if not for a striking pair of jeans, trademark Union-Alls, and iconic Rider Jacket, the former of which takes the brand’s iconic 101-Z jeans and finishes them off with Pendleton’s woolen detailing. As far as the Union-All goes, they come equipped with a woolen chest and hip pocket that seamlessly play in the foreground of Lee’s selvedge indigo denim. Rounding out the majority of denim is Lee’s classic 101 Rider Jacket, boasting the brand’s signature stitching and gorgeous woolen lining from Pendleton. Lastly, and arguably the collection’s highlight, the Patchwork Chore Coat is crafted from an onslaught of materials and fuses the two brands together in a one-of-a-kind manner. With a 100% wool body and lining neighboring patches of denim, there is truly nothing that exudes both heritage brands more than this.

Available today through Lee’s website, this variety of pieces is sure to make for a great offering no matter what you’re looking to wear this fall, with prices starting at $195.
