Titaner’s Titanium EDC Wallet Packs Spy-Level Tools Into a 10mm Frame

Wallets have evolved considerably in the last decade, considering the likes of Ridge popularizing the metal card holder and Ekster’s highly-innovative trigger deployment design. With a never-ending balancing act of minimal capacity versus optimized capability, these hardware wallets can be hit or miss. However, Titaner, known for its own array of forward-thinking EDC gear (we just covered their latest rolling measuring tool the other day), has thrown its own hat in the ring with a titanium, albeit pricey, solution for your cards, cash, and more.

Pocket Fortress Engineering

The first thing you notice about this titanium beast is how it completely abandons the traditional wallet playbook. At just 10mm thick and weighing 2.5oz, it’s basically the antithesis of that bulky leather bifold you’re dad carried around for decades. Titaner CNC-machined this from a single block of aerospace-grade GR5 titanium, which is the same material and process you’d find in the aerospace industry. Sculpted grooves along the edges serve as functional handles for a 360-degree flip mechanism.

The engineering here bucks typical metal wallet construction. Magnetic closures keep everything secure, but Titaner strategically positioned these magnets away from your cards’ magnetic strips. Small details like rubber retention pillars prevent cards from falling out, while a super soft interior lining keeps things from getting scratched up.

The wallet holds 5 cards in total, including one in the quick-draw section and an additional four on the opposite side. The former is built with an angled ramp that makes it easy to flick the card out with a quick thumb gesture rather than jacking up your fingernail trying to get it out.

The Hidden Arsenal

Unlike your standard metal wallet, the Titaner option features an integrated toolset. It’s tucked beneath the quick-draw card slot inside what the brand calls a “hidden chamber,” a foam-lined compartment for tiny essentials like SD and TF cards. You can also stuff some folded bills here.

The company includes three custom tools as well: a pentagonal multi-tool with multiple screwdriver functions, a surgical-grade No. 11 blade for precision cutting, and a SIM pin that doubles as a mounting point for keychains or AirTags.

If it were a standalone release, the pentagon multi-tool would’ve warranted its own article write-up itself. The five-function tool is made of 440C stainless steel and boasts a flathead driver, two sizes of Philips head drivers, and an I-slot nut wrench. The 440C steel is also used for the blade. Meanwhile, the SIM pin serves two functions, including ejecting SIM cards in normal mode and becoming a mounting point when partially extended.

Two Sides of the Same Wallet

Titaner offers two different finish options for the wallet. As the brand points out, the sandblasted version is evocative of a MacBook Pro, while the stonewashed finish brings a more rugged appearance. Both finishes are designed to give you a solid grip on the wallet as well.
