Oakley has always done well with the pressure put on the brand to be the perennial leader in performance eyewear. After over two years of R&D and input from 15 pro athletes, the brand finally debuted its Stunt Wing sunglasses last year. These didn’t just fall in line with Oakley’s futuristic design aesthetics but had cutting-edge tech like HyperGrip ULTRA, a flexible temple band that ventilates while staying locked into place.
Now, the Stunt Wing, along with a few other silhouettes, gets a whole new look thanks to a new iridescent finish as part of the Aura Collection.

Aura Farming
Sporting dual color-shift paint, the almost spiritual new Stunt Wing remains the centerpiece here, and for good reason. The hinge-free design and HyperGrip technology already earned it a nomination as one of Time Magazine’s Best Innovations of 2025, and are back for the Aura edition. The new colorshift treatment doesn’t mess with any of the performance specs. You still get the Unobtainium nosepads designed to grip harder when you sweat, the O-Matter thermoplastic frame that keeps its shape over time, and the interchangeable nosepads.

Blending purple, green, red, and gold into a finish that shifts with every angle, Oakley was inspired by the exhausting process of training, from early mornings to brutal setbacks, to the countless reps you have to put in. It’s a surprisingly human angle for a brand known for mad scientist innovation.

Beyond the Slopes
Rounding out the Aura Collection, Oakley applied the same iridescent treatment to the Flow Scape goggle (which features the brand’s largest field of view to date), the lifestyle-focused Permian frames, and the CYBR Zero model. The MOD1 MIPS helmet gets the colorshift finish too, along with a curated lineup of cold-weather accessories, like gloves, neck gaiters, hats, and socks, which are all finished with refracting iridescent logos for increased visibility.
