Marmot and Pendleton Partner on a Yosemite-Inspired Outdoor Collection

Ansel Adams once said, “Yosemite Valley, to me, is always a sunrise, a glitter of green and golden wonder in a vast edifice of stone and space.” The iconic photographer became synonymous with his black-and-white visages of Half Dome and El Capitan, capturing the essence of the breathtaking mountains as best he could. And yet, the beauty of Yosemite is truly indescribable for anyone who’s never been lucky enough to visit the national park themselves.

Aiming to exude the essence of Yosemite Valley in an eye-catching palette, Oregon-based wool expert Pendleton has partnered with Californian outdoor gear company Marmot to apply its new Yosemite pattern to the brand’s most popular products. Featuring a sky blue base, the assortment of products are accented with a blend of yellow, red, and blue. Leading the way is the two-person tent that sports a pair of D-shaped doors, a lampshade pocket for ambient lighting, and two vestibules for storing over 16 square feet of your personal belongings. This easy-pitch tent contains over 30 square feet of floor space and is made from a durable polyester material that will help you stay dry if it rains.

Among the other items is a 650-fill duck down quilt with Down Defender for added protection against the elements. With 53 inches of shoulder girth, the quilt snaps into place for wrapping around yourself when it gets chilly, and also comes with a storage sack. Speaking of storage, the collection also includes a large camp hauler with 40L of interior space. Likewise, the waterproof soft cooler holds up to 24 cans and has EVA foam insulation. A 5-panel hat and cotton bandana round out the capsule.

This limited-edition collection, which celebrates one of the country’s most famous playgrounds, coincides with the two companies doing their part to raise money for the Yosemite Conservancy. The collection is available now on Marmot’s website, with pricing from $15.
