Getting its premium quality from its high-end S30V — a purpose-built stainless steel — the knife is an ambidextrous workhorse tool with serious reliability and some innovative features as well, including its B.O.S.S. (Balls Of Stainless Steel) Tech, which utilizes a cage-based ball-bearing system to give you an incredibly smooth and consistent deployment with minimal friction. For this latest limited edition, the Fastball features an exclusive handle made from purple aluminum with a black aluminum backspacer. As for the S30V wharncliffe blade, it’s been given a black oxide coating before getting a tumbled finish for a stonewash-esque appearance. There’s also a three-position pocket clip for both left- and right-handed users. We also love the custom-inspired backspacer that the Fastball is so well known for. Weighing 2.7oz, this USA-made pocket knife sports a 3-inch blade for 7.1” of total length.
