Everyday Carry: Espresso

For some people, coffee gets them through the day. But for others, coffee is life. While the coffee bean has been around for centuries, the Italian espresso was invented in the late 1800s as a way to deliver more concentrated coffee in a much quicker way. Espresso also helped spur the rapid rise of modern coffee culture, which continues today. This EDC pocket dump is inspired by those vintage espresso shops and cafes in Italy with brown-dominant colorways for those who are java-obsessed.

Unimatic U1S-MB

Unimatic has perfected the art of striking minimalism into its watches so that they still don’t go unnoticed. Right from the heart of coffee culture, the Italian watch brand’s proprietary design language is both classy and understated, and always memorable. Limited to 500 pieces, this brown, coffee-inspired version of its Modello Uno dive watch, dubbed U1S-MB, sports a matte “mocha brown” dial and matching aluminum bezel. However, the aesthetic becomes tied in with the inclusion of the brown calf suede leather strap, which can also be swapped out for a brown seatbelt NATO strap.
