Pieced together around a button-lock-equipped titanium handle, the Jake Hoback Knives Sumo is a top-shelf EDC folder that features a milled titanium pocket clip and an anodized pivot collar and backspacer. Deployed via a unique triangular-shaped thumb-stud set and guided by a super smooth caged ball-bearing pivot, the Sumo’s blade consists of an ultra-beefy, 0.16” thick, 3.25” clip point item that’s composed of ultra-premium CPM 20CV “super steel” and adorned in a combination stonewashed and bead-blasted finish. What’s more, a depression in the blade allows it to also be opened in the same manner as a knife with a thumb-hole blade deployment.
