Arc’Teryx’s New Line of Mantis Backpacks Is Made of 100% Recycled Polyester

While Arc’Teryx jackets are some of the outdoor world’s most coveted items right now, the brand’s eclectic variety of gear is where it shines just as much.

The new collection of bags will be available in three sizes — 16L, 20L, and 26L — that are each tailored toward different levels of activity on the trails. All of the Mantis daypacks are crafted using nothing but recycled polyester that undergoes a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish, deeming them a sustainable piece of gear ready to tackle some fall rain. Color-wise, there is over a handful to choose from for the 16L and 20L packs, while the 26L configuration is available in four shades, including the pictured Black and Habitat/Forage palette.

Each option features a pack pocket composed of a top lid compartment, an inner sleeve fit for a laptop, tablet, or hydration bladder, and stretchy mesh side pockets to store bottles or thermoses. All-in-all, each of the well-designed bags offer far more than a streamlined look, as they serve as functional pieces of equipment ready to be used anywhere from the campgrounds to campus.

If you need a new backpack to stow your gear when taking on the trails, you’ll be hard-pressed finding products that outdo what Arc’Teryx has to offer. The Canadian clothier’s latest line of Mantis backpacks is available on its webshop starting from $120.
