Bremont Teams Up with Rapha for a Cycling-Inspired MBIII Watch

UK-based watchmaker Bremont may be best known for its tough-as-nails pilot’s watches, but for its latest release, the luxury brand is coming back down to Earth for a slick collaboration with high-end cycling club Rapha.

The Bremont MBIII Rapha Special Edition is a limited-edition version of one of Bremont’s flagships, the MBIII, and it boasts the model’s trademark robust construction. Built from Grade 5 titanium in matte black and coated with a protective tactical coating, the watch’s signature three-piece Trip-Tick case measures 43mm across and 50mm lug-to-lug. It features dual knurled bezels, one of which rotates the inner bi-directional Roto-Click 24-hour bezel to line up with the fourth hand of the BE-93-2AV automatic chronometer GMT movement.

Speaking of the movement, it’s protected by a patented rubberized anti-shock mount, meaning the watch can easily withstand even the worst of tumbles you may suffer on the road. The watch’s black dial matches the sleek look of the case, with Super-LumiNova-coated hands and Arabic indices and a contrasting seconds hand in Rapha Pink. The watch also boasts Rapha branding at 6 o’clock, along with a custom Rapha-engraved rotor visible through the smoked sapphire case back, with the latter serving as a reminder that this piece is Rapha’s first-ever mechanical watch release.

Sold with a black rubber strap for riding and a black leather strap for more formal occasions, the Bremont MBIII Rapha Special Edition is available through Bremont exclusively to Rapha Cycling Club members and is priced at $5,595.
