Keeping up with Supreme’s seasonal collaborations can be exhaustive, but its ongoing partnership with The North Face is always hard to gloss over. This time, though, instead of resale-friendly puffer jackets and pants, the two brands have reimagined G-SHOCK’s popular DW-6900.
This three-way collaboration sees the ‘90s-era digital watch garner one of the fashion world’s most coveted embellishments: a pair of red box logo patches from TNF and Supreme weaved into its nylon and velcro band. Moreover, a noticeable shift in design here is the use of these softer materials as opposed to G-SHOCK’s typical resin band. Style-wise, the iconic shock-resistant timepiece is livened up in a trio of colors: black, white, and yellow.
Additionally, when activating its EL backlight, the Supreme box logo is displayed, serving as another fashionable touch that streetwear enthusiasts are bound to appreciate. However, the night-time-ready tech has been coming in clutch for G-SHOCK enthusiasts since the DW-6900’s initial release in 1995, going to show that it retains every bit of functionality. To no surprise, the trio of watches goes hand-in-hand with the iconic streetwear label’s latest apparel collection with The North Face.
Each color of the Supreme x The North Face’s G-SHOCK DW-6900 will be available on Supreme’s upcoming drop on November 24.
