Back in 2020, German-based watchmaker Sinn debuted a diver based on its own popular U1 model. This new version was called the U50 and it had a case made out of submarine steel and water resistance down to 500m.

Like all of Sinn’s watches, the U50 sported a meticulous design and incredible durability. Now, the horological firm has swapped the steel cases for that of titanium, creating a timepiece with a lighter feel on your wrist. The T50 debuts with a trio of iterations, including two with bezels made of Sinn’s proprietary Goldbronze alloy and one with grade 5 titanium bezel that’s been hardened with its patented TEGIMENT, since titanium scratches much easier than steel. While two of the watches feature black dials, one of the Goldbronze versions has an intentionally scratched-up black dial for a surprisingly attractive distressed aesthetic.

Bringing back the 41mm case size, 500m dive range, 4 o’clock crown, and bezel hash configuration, the new models do change up the hands, swapping the boxy shape from the U50 with more traditional lance-shaped sticks. Unlike other divers in its class, the T50 just looks decidedly more tactical and stylish, despite the highly technical-driven specs.

Adding versatility to the divers, you can choose from either a titanium bracelet, silicone strap, or NATO strap. The T50 is now offered through Sinn’s website for $3,840.
