For years, the Time Teller has been one of NIXON’s most popular watches. And while its immense success has resulted in the California-based horological outfit producing dozens of different Time Teller variants, this uber-popular timepiece is now being treated to its most substantial revision since its initial debut with NIXON’s new Time Teller Solar Watch lineup.

Wider and thinner than existing TT models, the NIXON Time Teller Solar is constructed around a brushed 40.5mm stainless steel case that features a solid stainless steel fixed bezel, a triple gasket-equipped stainless steel crown, and a stainless steel screw-down caseback — the latter two of which help this solar watch to achieve a water-resistant rating of 100 meters (330’). The case also features a 20mm spring pin lugs setup that comes fitted with a vintage-inspired staggered five-link steel free swing quick-release bracelet that features a new and improved quick-adjust buckle with a deployment clasp that allows for a wider range of adjustments without requiring the use of any tools.

Sitting beneath a hardened mineral crystal lens is the Time Teller Solar’s dial. On top of boasting a custom-molded hand-set and premium raised indices, the dial of this watch also features an integrated solar array that affords a cool four months of life on a single charge without being noticeable to the eye. This solar unit powers the watch’s Japanese quartz movement — a Miyota Caliber 2035-based 2170 item that’s markedly more precise than even today’s most high-end automatic and mechanic movements.

Currently offered in four different references, the NIXON Time Teller Solar Watch lineup is available now with pricing set at just $150.
