Officially, the Huckberry x Timex Navi XL Automatic “Arctic” pays homage to the rugged tool watches that were purpose-built to assist climbers and explorers who ventured to the poles, as well as the peak of Mount Everest, as part of the International Geophysical project in 1957. Its arctic theme is channeled through its gorgeous snow-white dial, which perfectly contrasts the black military time markers and lumed indices and hands. For added stylistic contrast, the Huckberry x Timex Navi XL Automatic “Arctic” sports a handsome-looking orange sweeping seconds hand. Keeping in line with the purpose-built motif of its predecessors, it features a reliable unidirectional rotating dive-time bezel, 100m water resistance and is powered by a Japanese 21-jewel automatic movement. Moreover, the watch boasts a stainless steel case and bracelet along with an exhibition case back — a relative rarity for Timex.
