Last month, with the release of its BR-X3, Bell & Ross proved that you can structurally reimagine an emblematic design without losing the essence of the watch. The model was a skeletonized “Extreme” take on the BR-03 that the watchmaker has been evolving since 2006. And if anything, it opened up the world of unorthodox creative possibilities — the latest of which is this Night Vision variant that’s funky, tactical, and completely different than anything we’ve seen on the market.

The Glowing Carbon Composite
Bell & Ross developed an entirely new material for the Night Vision called LUM-CAMO — a composite that fuses carbon fiber with photoluminescent resin. Unlike typical lume applications painted onto hands and indices, this material actually becomes part of the case architecture itself. The top and bottom plates glow green in darkness, creating a three-dimensional light show that extends well beyond simple time-telling.
The 41mm sandwich case construction features these glowing LUM-CAMO plates secured with four through-screws housed in protective cylinders made from — you guessed it — more photoluminescent green rubber. Between these glowing layers sits a Grade 2 titanium mid-case with black PVD coating, which should keep the overall weight manageable considering the 41mm diameter and 13.3mm thickness.

HUD-Inspired Dial Architecture
The choice of green isn’t arbitrary. Bell & Ross pulled directly from aeronautical head-up displays (HUD) — the same systems fighter pilots rely on for nighttime missions. The multi-layered dial features an X-shaped skeletonized frame coated in green Super-LumiNova X2, visible through a green-tinted sapphire crystal. Every functional element, from the oversized date window at 3 o’clock to the 70-hour power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, gets outlined in that same electric green glow.
Bell & Ross has always understood legibility (it’s literally their founding principle), and the Night Vision takes that obsession to its logical extreme, transforming entirely when the lights go out.

The REst of the Specs
Inside beats the BR-CAL.323, an automatic movement developed with Kenissi — the same Swiss manufacture that supplies Tudor and Norqain. Revealed through a tinted sapphire caseback, it boasts COSC chronometer certification and a 70-hour power reserve.
Lastly, the “openworked” black rubber strap includes a black DLC-coated titanium pin buckle, completing the stealth aesthetic.
