Todd Snyder & Clarks Put a Cozy Winter Spin on the Wallabee and Desert Boot

Todd Snyder and Clarks have built a solid rapport with one another over the years. Having collaborated on a colorful, carpet-inspired capsule in the past, they are looking to tame things a bit more with their latest collection. Tackling the iconic Desert Boot and Wallabee silhouettes, the pair of subtle stylists have delivered on a shearling-filled take of the respective classics.

We’ll start with the Desert Boot, which is the same way Nathan Clark began upon the shoe’s conception back in 1950. Composed of a timelessly stylish hairy suede, Todd Snyder winterized the staple with a shearling liner that ensures warmth even more than they do sheer dapperness. Next up is the Wallabee, a pair that the New York designer has touched up a handful of times in the past, but it garners a parallel treatment to the desert boot here with an enviously cozy shearling interior. Each of the two joint efforts is finished off with military-inspired color palettes, as they are both available in ‘Olive’ and ‘Khaki,’ then touched up with orange accents.

While a handful of Todd Snyder’s collaborations have been difficult to grab in the past, these look to be a bit more attainable. Exclusively sold through the designer’s website and at their Rockefeller Center retailer, the brand’s fuzzy new collaboration with Clarks is priced at $240 for the Desert Boots and $250 for the Wallabees.
