Last month, Nitecore unveiled the lightest 20,000mAh power bank in the world with its Carbo 20000, using a carbon fiber shell to shed weight.
The Chinese brand has followed that up with an even smaller and lighter version, dubbed the Summit 10000, a 10,000mAh power bank that weighs a remarkable 6oz — around half of the Carbo. Constructed with a durable unibody carbon fiber shell for an IPX5 impact resistance rating, the lithium-ion charger features a USB-A port with 18W of output and a USB-C port with 20W of output.
As impressive as the Summit 10000 is in terms of weight, its major selling point is its performance in sub-zero temperatures thanks to its innovative heating mode. Where most portable chargers would go almost numb in -4ºF climates, the Summit still performs at 70% capacity, with stable output even as low as -40ºF.
