Having worked alongside each other on a pair of bright-orange earbuds a few years ago, McLaren and Klipsch have joined forces again to unveil an extremely limited loudspeaker. The collaborative MCL-905 is the perfect addition to any auto enthusiast’s home theater.

The two-way speaker boasts a horn-loaded 3″ comprised bolted by an advanced Tractrix horn, promoting a large but balanced sound stage. Audio is enhanced even further thanks to a pair of 15″ fiber-composite cone woofers in the low-frequency cabinet, paving the way for bass punches as low as 32hz. Moreover, Klipsch writes that it’s never put forth such a professional, theater-grade speaker for everyday home use until today, which says a lot about what to expect when hooking this up to your TV.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a McLaren collab if not for the sporty look, and the manufacturers managed to translate the design language seamlessly. The MCL-905 is highlighted by its newly-redesigned bracket, fully inspired by the bespoke tailwings and spoilers that appear on McLaren’s aerodynamic F1 models. To finish it off, the speaker’s high-frequency horn garners a touch of the English marque’s papaya orange, while it’s rounded out with a #5 seal of Bruce McLaren’s signature for good measure.

You’ll need to act fast if you want to get your hands on one of these. Klipsch is only making 25 pairs of its limited edition MCL-905 McLaren Edition, and they’re available for $7,999 each.
