GoPro’s HERO11 Black Action Camera Comes in a Trio of Configurations

GoPro’s Hero 10 Black action camera is one of the brand’s most impressive gadgets to date — well, at least it was. Upon the tech brand’s reveal of its updated offering, the HERO11 Black, it’s clear that it looks to deliver in several configurations.

The new line of cameras includes the standard iteration, the Creator Edition, and the streamlined Mini. While they all differ from one another, they each offer 10-bit color video recording capabilities, GoPro’s latest HyperSmooth video stabilizing tech, and weatherized performance thanks to its Enduro battery. Starting in order, the manufacturer touts the base model as “the world’s most versatile camera,” as it can capture 5.3K resolution footage and 27-megapixel photos through any adventure. These enhancements come as a result of the bolstered image sensor. Of course, this enhanced sensor also appears on the Creator Edition and Mini.

Moreover, the professional-tailored Creator Edition is equipped with a versatile hand grip with all-day charging functions, allowing you to record for as long as necessary. Features tailored toward this version include the ability to record directional audio and a built-in soft LED light for clear footage. Lastly, the Black Mini is the most notable release this trio has to offer, boasting a low-profile design with dual-mounting fingers to provide you with a plethora of mounting options. GoPro even claims that it is one of its most durable models yet, primarily thanks to its rugged outer shell.

Size-wise, the 133-gram Mini model is roughly 20 grams lighter than the standard HERO11, deeming it a small-scale action cam that doesn’t skimp on high-quality recording sessions. While the HERO11 and Creator Edition are currently available starting from $550, the Mini will release on October 25.
