DJI Unveils Its Third-Generation Mini Drone with Widely Enhanced Specs

Whenever DJI takes it upon itself to push the envelope, it’s always worth talking about. As a result, the latest generation in its line of Mini drones, the Mini 3 Pro, is mightily impressive, packing a bevy of upgrades that come as no surprise from the tech brand.

By enhancing the Mini 2’s flight time, video quality, and lightweight makeup, DJI managed to revamp its Mini line entirely. As far as the battery is concerned, the base-tier Intelligent Flight Battery allows for up to 34 minutes of flight time, but this can be boosted to a whopping 49 minutes when upgrading to the brand’s Plus option. Weighing under 249 grams, the Mini 3 Pro is the gadgeteer’s lightest model to date, bringing a new definition to the word “portable.”

In contrast to its small-scale size, the Mini 3 Pro boasts immaculate capturing prowess, rounded out by Tri-Directional Obstacle Sensing to avoid obstacles and guarantee safety. The standard-setting gizmo can capture video at a crystal clear 4K/60fps rate, as well as 48MP RAW photos. The internal camera even features a 1/1.3” CMOS sensor with a dual native ISO to enhance each photo’s HDR tenfold, resulting in remarkably crisp detail. DJI even implemented its proprietary FocusTrack tech, resulting in the remarkable ability to key in on your point of interest with zero interruption.

If you’re looking for the best visual quality around, then DJI’s Mini 3 Pro is the drone for you. The Shenzhen-based manufacturer’s new release is available to order now, starting from $759.
