The team over at Clicks Technology, a tech company started by Michael Fisher (AKA MrMobile) and Kevin Michaluk (AKA CrackBerry Kevin), consists of people who have worked with Apple, BlackBerry, and Google, but more importantly, they’re die-hard keyboard fans. And they’ve just announced the Clicks Creator Keyboard, seeking to reunite the iPhone with something it initially destroyed: easy access to a tactile keyboard on your phone.

Clicks combined a slim iPhone case with a backlit keyboard (powered directly by the phone) to free up some screen real estate and give creators the power to type more efficiently. Made for the iPhone 14 Pro, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max, this keyboard case has an undeniably BlackBerry-esque way about it (going way back to the pager days with the circular keys) but with a more cleaned-up look. You also still have access to iOS shortcuts, with a voice command key for Siri, and a companion app is expected to drop soon, which will also add some functionality going forward.

This case also has a minimalist look that complements the iPhone well, keeping it thin around the bezels with minimal branding overall. Clicks does say that the case supports wireless charging, but it’s not MagSafe, so you won’t be able to use other magnetic accessories. Construction-wise, it’s made with vegan leather, polycarbonate, and silicon, with tactile plated nickel domes.

The Clicks Creator Keyboard Founders Edition (or just “Clicks”) is available to order now in the bright BumbleBee yellow or monochromatic London Sky. Pricing starts at $139 for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro models, with shipping slated to begin on February 1st and mid-March, respectively. The iPhone 15 Pro Max edition ships in the early spring, costs $159, and requires a $30 deposit. Founders Edition owners also get VIP support and early access to future colors.
