Whether it’s the thinnest television or the slimmest smartphone, a razor-like width always manages to look pretty appealing. Of course, the same applies to computers, which is why Alienware’s latest addition to its line of gaming laptops should come as no surprise. Albeit powerful, the x14 also serves as the thinnest laptop from the gaming-focused Dell subsidiary.
The tech brand’s newest offering measures a mere 0.57 inches thin with a maximum weight of 4.06 pounds. Accounting for all the built-in equipment needed to power up one of these high-speed gadgets, seeing a 14-inch laptop rounded out with such small measurements in every other category is pretty impressive. Color-wise, it solely comes available in an ultra-clean white the brand has labeled “Lunar Light.”
While the laptop’s streamlined makeup is easy on the eyes, it can’t necessarily overshadow its technical prowess. It boasts a 4-gig NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, which can be upgraded to the 6-gig 3060 option. It is also powered by a 12th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, which can be boosted from 12 cores to a whopping 14 cores. Although the manufacturer sure does offer a handful of laptops that provide superior performance, it’s hard to go wrong with something that can operate this well with such a sleek composition.
If you’re a gamer, anything you choose to buy from Alienware is usually a good choice, but this looks like the one to get if you’re longing for a compact option. The Alienware x14 Gaming Laptop is currently available through parent company Dell’s website, starting from $1,650.
