A couple months ago, Alienware brought the big guns out to CES, garnering a Best of Innovation award for its remarkable 500Hz gaming monitor. To no surprise, the high-tech manufacturer’s AW2524H is the world’s first model of its kind.

The modern marvel measures in at 24.5”, delivering full high-resolution visuals from end to end on a Fast IPS panel. This top-tier tech provides 99% color coverage and is then bolstered with VESA DisplayHDR 400 for wider viewing angles for an immersive gaming experience. All that said, its resolution caps at 1080p, meaning you won’t be able to utilize its other remarkable features in 4K; regardless, it doesn’t make them any less impressive.

Standing tall above any other tech spec it has to offer, however, is its rapid-fire refresh rate. Clocking in at 500Hz, the remarkable new monitor paves the way for fast-paced gaming sessions where you don’t have to worry about missing a second of the action or, even worse, severe lagging. Further assisting in capturing latency is NVIDIA’s Reflex Analyzer tech, which provides players with an accurate measurement of their PC’s performance.

And while Asus revealed a similar 500Hz of its own, Alienware’s example will be the first one sold worldwide, as the former is yet to receive a proper release date. The Alienware AW2524H will be available starting March 21 for $830 through Dell’s dedicated webshop.
