You Could Own This All-Black Retro-Inspired Handcrafted PS5 Gaming Console

Undoubtedly, Sony’s PlayStation 5 was one of the biggest tech releases of 2020. In fact, it’s still almost impossible to get even after several months on the market. And while it’s an impressive machine, the fact that it only comes in white was irksome to many gamers. Well, the folks at SUP3R5 are solving both of those issues — for a select, lucky few.

Inspired directly by the PlayStation 2 gaming console — which released all the way back on March 3rd, 2000 — this version of the PS5 boasts blacked-out retro-inspired styling that was actually tediously, carefully, masterfully hand-applied. Better still, each console also comes with an equally-beautifully blacked-out DualSense controller. However, this is a severely limited release — only 304 (a nod to the PS2’s release date) will ever be built. Starting at $649, these special-edition, blacked-out, retro, next-gen gaming machines will drop at 3 pm on the 8th of January, 2021.

Purchase: $649+
