District Vision and Reigning Champ have come together in the past for performance-geared sunglasses, and it seems as though the two brands can’t get enough of one another. The performance boutiques’ latest collaboration revamps a trio of the SoCal-based eyewear brand’s most popular silhouettes in the Junya Racer, Nagata Speed Blade, and Keiichi Standard.
Like the majority of Reigning Champ’s catalog, these high-end glasses have been reimagined in tones of gray, black, and navy, with each color entirely composing its respective pair of shades. Starting with the gray Junya Racer, which boasts a titanium core frame, a proprietary D+ gradient lens, and the ideal shape for any speed-based activities like biking and running. Next, the navy-colored Nagata Speed Blade is made of lightweight nylon and features a titanium core, with a shape that looks to battle the harshest of conditions. Lastly, the black Keiichi Standard is ideal for any outdoor activities, boasting an incredibly lightweight composition akin to the Nagata with a more fashion-forward (and less performance-inspired) design.
The trio of sporty shades was engineered in Japan, then wear-tested by a trio of elite athletes on the west coast. Each of the water-and-oil-repellent sunglasses is rounded out with shatterproof polycarbonate lenses and hypoallergenic adjustable nose pads, ensuring a high-quality composition through and through. Additionally, each pair offers 100% UV protection and solid blue light protection, offering between 79-89% coverage.
When you head out for your next morning run, you’ll definitely need a stylish and effective way to battle the sun’s rays, and a pair from this collab would fit the bill nicely. You can pick up a pair from Reigning Champ’s latest collab with District Vision on the former’s online shop now, starting from $200.
