Reebok Honors Design Icons with the First-Ever Official Eames Sneakers

In the fields of architecture and furniture design, few names carry as much weight as Eames. Husband and wife designer duo Charles and Ray Eames were giants of the mid-century modern era, with iconic designs such as the Eames Lounge Chair, the Eames Molded Fiberglass Chairs, and Case Study House 8, better known as the Eames House. Now, the pair’s design legacy is migrating to the world of fashion, as Reebok has teamed up with Eames Office for the first official Eames sneaker.

The Reebok x Eames Club C Monotone Pack sneakers are a special edition of Reebok’s classic casual silhouette. Available in both black and white colorways, the shoes feature a slew of heritage accents like original size tongue tags, squared-off window boxes, and classic logos. They also incorporate plenty of Eames branding, with a custom Reebok x Eames print on the arch, woven Eames tags, and a gray outsole that speaks to the Eames’ industrial designs. The insole features a custom multicolored triangular pattern that pays tribute to the duo’s more whimsical works, such as their colorful Eames Storage Unit and their world-famous home. Speaking of the Eames House, the sneakers come in a special shoebox that’s modeled after the late couple’s Pacific Palisades abode, giving the shoes a home that’s nearly as stylish as the real thing.

The Reebok x Eames Club C Monotone Pack sneakers in black and white are priced at $120. They’re set to be released on both the Reebok and Eames Office websites on October 15 before seeing a wider release at select retailers on October 21.
