When we first heard about Proof’s 72-Hour Merino Tee a few years back, we couldn’t believe it. A shirt designed to last over three days, outdoors? Well, the proof is in the pudding, and we’ve been using the rugged shirt on basically every one of our campouts ever since. In recent years, Proof has seriously expanded the 72-Hour lineup, which now includes hoodies, pants, and polo shirts.

Aiming to be the go-to adventure outfit, Proof’s 72-Hour Collection is undoubtedly highlighted by the t-shirt, which comes in a plethora of colors for any outfit. Starting with the world’s best merino wool, the tee leverages the fabric’s natural temperature-regulating and odor-resistant properties to make this the perfect choice for any extended stay where washing your clothes just isn’t an option (it happens). Also able to wick moisture, it has even been field-tested and holds up to the sniff test, well after the 3-day promise. If you want something even lighter, you can check out the 72-Hour Merino Air T-Shirt, which is a modified version for more mobility during high-intensity workouts.

Aside from the T-Shirt, we also love the 72-Hour Merino Polo, which transposes the tech for the boardroom or the terminal. You can pair this with the 72-Hour Merino Pant, in navy, black, or olive, which we’ve used outdoors and even at work. It’s given DWR coating for extra moisture protection and is built with nylon, polyester, and elastane for durability and stretch. A gusseted crotch is also included for increased range of motion.

Proof has also thought about solutions for when temps drop. The 72-Hour Quarter Zip and Hoodie are both given UPF 50+ protection against the sun and are reinforced with nylon for shape retention. Merino can be very soft and often a bit too malleable in its natural state, so Proof gives it some added support, along with some Spandex for stretch and thumb-loops to keep the sleeves in place.

Huckberry has recently partnered with Toyota for their epic 72-Hour Challenge through Colorado, during which it will rely on the dependability of Proof’s 72-Hour Collection. The pieces themselves range from $78 to $168 and are available now from Huckberry’s website.
