Last year, Nike celebrated the 30th anniversary of its legendary Air Max 95, giving us some of the finest variants we’ve ever seen and also properly reviving its original Big Bubble construction. Fortunately for us, the Swoosh has kept the celebration going. Last month, it brought back the Neon launch colorway, and now it’s collaborated with LEGO on a 1,213-piece set perfect for the millions of us who have fallen in love with the Air Max 95 throughout the years.

Why The Air Max 95?
Sergio Lozano designed the Air Max 95 for Nike over three decades ago, inspired by the shape of the human body with laces that look like rib cages, and also nature with its gradient upper layers. It was basically an instant hit. Today considered a pillar of sneakerhead culture, the shoe was also the first to showcase the Air tech inside with visible units at the midsole. It makes perfect sense why LEGO would want to honor such a classic.
This is the third set from Nike and LEGO, following homages to both the high- and low-top Dunk sneakers.

The Set
For ages 12 and up, the Air Max 95 LEGO Set features a whopping 1,213 pieces that sit 9” x 12” 7” when fully built. The shoe itself features a muted graphite-and-black upper with the classic Neon yellow Big Bubble “Air” units underneath. Details even drip down to the co-branded insole and the LEGO logo on the tongue. Along with the brick-built sneaker, the set comes with a customizable minifigure, an extra set of swappable laces, and a bubble-shaped “AIR” logo.

Designed to be displayed alongside your sneaker collection, the build rests atop a wide base and stand. If that’s not enough, the base contains hidden compartments that open when you turn the shoe. They can hold your swappable laces or extra minifigures.
