Parks Project’s adherence to keeping things laid-back and sustainable is something we have no choice but to appreciate, and seeing as the humble brand just came together with New Balance for a collection of upcycled gear, it only seems more appropriate to highlight it now.

At first glance, it’s easy to assume that the Parks Project x New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro v7 is one of the most comfortable silhouettes we’ve seen to date, boasting a lightweight upper constructed of synthetic and mesh materials, all the while remaining durable enough and somehow breathable to take on your day to day regiment. Additionally, this is placed atop a Fresh Foam X midsole for maximum cushion and responsiveness with every step, as well as a Vibram Megagrip compound to promote excellent grip and enhanced durability from the elements. Most importantly, and perhaps the least bit surprisingly knowing Parks Project, the re-designed silhouette is constructed using partly recycled materials. Style-wise, they are delivered in an inviting, spring-ready shade of deep teal, white, and brown.

In addition to the versatile new kicks, New Balance’s popular packable anorak jacket also undergoes a notable revamping with this capsule, as the brands douse this famous piece of lightweight outerwear in trail-friendly shades of purple that help you channel your inner retro-era hiker. On top of that, there are several graphic tees and pairs of woven pants to choose from, allowing you to add some major splashes of color to your spring ensemble. These pieces are made of materials such as recycled nylon, recycled mesh, and recycled jersey material to ensure you’re saving the planet and filling missing gaps in your wardrobe.
