Founded in 2010, the company has grown to be a trusted name for finding the best gear for your pockets, closet, or countertop. Following its hugely popular collaboration last year to celebrate the Toyota Tacoma, it heads Stateside with another motor-themed partnership, putting its own spin on the most iconic name in the automotive industry. Headlining the 14-piece range that features hats, t-shirts, and sweatshirts is the Mechanic Jacket, taking an archival Ford design and putting it on the back, integrating some vintage-inspired Huckberry branding in the process. Built from a heavy-duty cotton canvas body with a 14-wale cotton corduroy collar, this classic-looking coat also features a chainstitched Ford logo on the left chest, right above a zippered pocket. Designed for cold weather, the jacket is insulated with red-colored quilted recycled polyester while also featuring triple-stitch reinforcement for durability. You can further tailor the fit thanks to adjustable snap button tabs across the back.
Also featured in this collection is a solid steel belt buckle that looks like it was taken right off of a vintage Ford truck. Limited to just 75 units that have been individually numbered on the back, each piece was hand-hammered by Wesley Groot of Cityboy Forge in Chicago. We also can’t walk away without talking about the Ford Toolbox, made in the USA with the help of family-run Connecticut-based metal shop Bull Metal. Decked out in a beautiful blue color and equipped with sturdy piano hinges, the multipurpose box is constructed out of 22-gauge cold-rolled stainless steel that’s been powder-coated in-house to prevent fading and chipping over time. Evocative of your dad’s old pickup, this is intended to be a legitimate storage device for your tools and features co-branding from both Ford and Huckberry on the zinc-plated steel nameplate.
Ranging from $24 to $228, the Huckberry x Ford collection also includes a few shirts, hats, and even a take on the brand’s popular 10-Year Hoodie. It just launched on Huckberry’s website, and with Father’s Day coming up, these items will make great gifts for the dad in your life.
