HOKA is having one heck of a year in 2024, and one that’s seen a bit more exploration in the streetwear category, from the resurrection of its discontinued Elevon as a lifestyle sneaker to an urbanized version of the Tor Summit hiking shoes. Likewise, there have been some successes in the purpose-built technical realm as well, especially with the winter-ready Kaha boots. However, with the Mafate Speed 4 Lite Stsfy trail runner released earlier this year in collaboration with boutique running label Satisfy, HOKA seems to be living in both worlds simultaneously.
Now back for an encore, the Mafate Speed 4 Lite Stsfy has gotten two more colorways, which might even be more streetwear-friendly than the previous two.

HOKA Mafate Speed 4 Lite STSFY Basics
First and foremost based on the standard Mafate Speed 4, the Satisfy collaboration debuted back in August with a pair of colorways: brown and lime green. It took the original silhouette from HOKA and added a transparent race-inspired TPU mesh upper to shed weight and ripstop nylon for protection, as well as a microfiber collar, flat-lay tongue, a two-part antique-finished ProFly+ midsole, and thin 1.5mm speed laces.
One could say this new pair of silhouettes is more trail-ready than the race-looking shoes from August. As such, the two colorways this time are Coffee and Brown, bringing more versatility to the shoes as well as more wilderness theming.

Rounding Out the Features
Those who already love the Mafate Speed 4s will appreciate the return of the Vibram Megagrip with Litebase underfoot on the co-branded trail runners, with 5mm lugs that will serve you well whether you take these through town or head out onto the trail — or both! The gusseted tongue also helps to keep out debris, never getting in the way while cinching up the laces.
