In 1903, William Harley joined forces with brothers Walter, William, and Arthur Davidson to establish one of the greatest American companies of all time, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. Based in Milwaukee and officially incorporated in 1907, the operation started in a small shed but would eventually grow into a bonafide American institution that represents far more than a mere motorcycle manufacturer, standing as an icon and symbol of freedom, rebellion, and Americana. With 2023 marking the motorcycle company’s 120th year in business, the company has opted to celebrate the occasion via its new limited edition 120th Anniversary Apparel and Riding Gear Collection.
Comprised of more than 70 items in total, the Black and Orange’s 120th Anniversary Collection sees the brand draw from its extensive historical archive, selecting a variety of vintage logos and branding to create its new limited edition clothing lineup. This includes a myriad of different Harley-logoed graphic tees, jackets, hoodies, vests, button-ups, and polos. Also included is a varsity jacket, several plaid shirts, a baseball jersey, a leather bomber jacket, and a set of coveralls. Additionally, the collection also includes a plethora of smaller accessories such as sunglasses, hats, belts, and wallets.
Anchoring the collection is a variety of 120th Anniversary Collection riding gear. This includes several high-end leather riding jackets, multiple pairs of riding gloves, and two different pairs of riding boots. Harley has also rolled out two different vintage-inspired 3/4 helmets along with a full-face modular helmet. Like the casual apparel, the riding gear all sports special Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary branding and will be produced in limited numbers. To further celebrate the occasion, Harley has also introduced a range of 120th Anniversary Edition motorcycles, and a lineup of 120th Anniversary Edition motorcycle parts.
