Picking the right piece is easy when it’s extremely hot or extremely cold. But what about moderate climates? For days when it’s frigid but not too frigid, the shirt jacket is an absolute essential. Available in Navy, Dark Olive, and Black Coffee colorways, the shell is made from a medium-weight 255gsm premium Italian moleskin that combines cotton (98%) for superb softness and elastane (2%) for stretch. Don’t let the supple appearance fool you, this jacket is still as rugged as ever.
Inside, the coat is insulated with lightweight PrimaLoft polyester-based fill that won’t add too much bulkiness while still giving you amazing warmth. It’s not just the exterior that’s quilted to hold insulation but the interior is as well. Roomy enough for layering, the jacket can be worn over a t-shirt or even a light sweater. Aesthetically, the curved hem gives it a clean look that can serve you well if you’re running errands around town or going out on Friday night.
On the front, you get two handwarmer pockets that stay out of sight and are lined with brushed cotton twill. Two more compartments are at the chest, snapped closed with button flaps. Buttons are also used to close the coat down the front for a more refined look.
