Crocs Is Reviving the All-Terrain Quicktrail Hikers

The story of Crocs is a quintessential underdog tale, starring a foam shoe designed for boating that was once a campy novelty becoming an industry darling and a runway icon. Between surprisingly fashionable drops like the Dylan Clog and collabs with the likes of Post Malone and Bad Bunny, the label has cemented itself as a unique player in the fashion scene, and they’re striking while the iron’s hot. Building off of the OG silhouette, Crocs released the Quicktrail hiking clogs over a decade ago while the business was struggling, and they’ve seen fit to revive them now that all eyes are on Crocs.

Arriving in two new colorways, black and espresso, this rerelease of the Quicktrail looks to have many of the same details as the OGs. Up top, you’re getting Crocs’ proprietary Croslite foam with small drainage ports (in lieu of the iconic holes) to keep debris at bay and allow water to move throughout the shoes. On the bottom, there’s a rubber outsole with lugs for traction on the trails, but the most notable detail here is the mesh collar, which gives you a more secure fit compared to the OG clogs, and it’s finished with a pull tab on the heel for easy wearing.

The original release of the Quicktrail was pretty quiet, with an expired Amazon page serving as one of the only references for the silhouette, and given the popularity of Crocs in the fashion scene at the moment (along with fashionable outdoor gear), now is the perfect time to give these hybrid hikers the attention they deserve.

The Crocs Quicktrail will drop on February 2nd at select retailers in the black and espresso colorways, but there’s no official word on pricing at the time of writing, and they won’t be offered on Crocs’ site (you can keep your eyes peeled for more info over there, however).
